The Catfish Otolith Aging Workshop was held on 11, February 2005 in Virginia Beach, Virginia. The workshop included "hands-on" laboratory sections and presentations on the evolution of catfish age estimation techniques, effects of error associated with spine aging techniques, future directions in catfish aging, and aging techniques for various catfish species (channel catfish, flathead catfish, blue catfish and bullheads).
