Grants - Florida Chapter American Fisheries Society (FAFS) Annual Meeting,
12-14 February 2002, Brooksville, Florida
The Florida Chapter AFS will again be providing the opportunity for students to obtain free room and board (up to $84.00) for this year's annual FAFS meeting scheduled for 12-14 February 2002 in Brooksville, Florida. In past years, 8 to 16 travel grants have been awarded each year. To be eligible to receive one of these travel grants, individuals must currently be registered in a Florida school and must apply for the grant. The student travel application is available in both an on-line and PDF (acrobat version better for printing) format. Awardees will be selected and notified prior to the meeting. You do not have to be presenting a talk or poster to be eligible. You must currently be a member of the Florida Chapter AFS. If not, you must become a member when you register at the annual meeting. The travel grant does not cover the cost of membership or registration. Deadline for applying is 15 January, 2002!!
