ANNOUNCEMENT AND CALL FOR PAPERS
Atlantic Slope River Drainages:
Headwaters to Harbors
The SDAFS is sponsoring a
symposium on Atlantic-slope river drainages, to be held at the annual
mid-year meeting of SDAFS in Savannah, Georgia. The purpose of the
symposium is to provide a general overview of the current issues, research
and management needs of these rivers.
Contributed papers and posters are
being solicited that summarize specific case studies or exemplify
management programs and projects related to fisheries issues in these
rivers. Papers on streams, reservoirs, and estuaries are encouraged.
Sessions within the Symposium will be organized according to river or
state, with a dedicated Savannah River session already planned.
Abstracts should include (in the
following order), the paper's title, author(s) name(s) and address(es)
(including phone, fax, and e-mail), and text. It is assumed that
the first author listed will be the presenter unless otherwise noted.
The text should be no more than 200 words. State objectives, principal
results, and conclusions. Please indicate that you are contributing a
presentation for the Atlantic Slope River Drainages Symposium.
