Social/Dinner
Students and professionals will have a chance to mingle while viewing
educational exhibits at Little Rock's Museum of Discovery. A catered
dinner will be provided and attendees will have a chance to party to the
sounds of Big Smith, a rockin' folk - bluegrass band. Check out their

History Social
Saturday night will provide a more related venue for socializing and
celebrating the Southern Division's 50th anniversary. The Doubletree's
ballroom will be adorned with posters chronicling the history of Southern
Division chapters, committees, and agencies. Appetizers and beverages will
be available.

Places to Visit:
Pine Bluff Nature
Center
Located approximately 45 minutes south in Pine Bluff’s Regional Park,
along a backwater of the Arkansas River, the Governor Mike Huckabee Delta
Rivers Nature Center features exhibits highlighting the culture and
ecosystems of the Arkansas Delta. Two outdoor aquariums, totaling over
30,000 gallons feature native fish and reptiles.
Little Rock Zoo
Conveniently located in downtown Little Rock, the Zoo is currently
expanding some of its exhibits.
Aerospace Education
Center
Located in Little Rock, across from the airport, the Aerospace Education
Center houses an IMAX theater and is a local favorite.
Pinnacle Mountain
State Park
About 20 minutes drive from downtown Little Rock, Pinnacle Mountain State
Park offers varied hiking
experiences, an interpretive center and unique scenery.
Shopping at the
River Market
Recently refurbished and restored, the Little Rock River Market area
offers unique shops and restaurants, all located along the banks of the
Arkansas River.
