a one-hour workshop to explore these kinds of
questions. Based on interviews for a forthcoming
book, the career experiences of distinguished
professionals are combined with audience
participation to explore the dilemmas and
opportunities natural resource professionals
routinely encounter during their careers. We will
conclude with a discussion on prescriptive advice
for improving a professional's management
