2006 Spring Meeting Student Lodging Information
The
SDAFS Student Affairs Committee will reserve a block of rooms for
free student lodging during the Spring meeting in San Antonio. Free
student lodging will be for two nights; February 10 and 11, 2006.
Each room will be shared by four students of the same gender. Application
deadline is January 15, 2006.
The SDAFS Spring meeting provides an excellent opportunity for students to develop their professional skills. In addition to technical sessions addressing a variety of fisheries related issues, take advantage of the Friday afternoon student workshop and the Saturday student/mentor luncheon.
If you are interested in obtaining free lodging, send your name, address, contact phone number, e-mail address, school, gender, status (graduate or undergraduate), AFS member number (located on your FISHERIES mailing label), and a statement about why you wish to attend the meeting to:

In the event that requests exceed the number of spaces available, the following criteria will be used to determine those receiving rooms:
- The applicant is presenting a paper or poster.
- The date of the room request.
- The applicant is a member of AFS.
- The applicant is an undergraduate or graduate student
