Free student lodging: The SDAFS Student Affairs Committee will reserve a block of rooms for free student lodging during the Spring meeting in San Antonio. Free student lodging will be for two nights; February 10 and 11, 2006. Each room will be shared by four students of the same gender. Application deadline is January 15, 2006. Scholarships: The Reservoir Committee will award one $1,000 Robert M. Jenkins Memorial scholarship to graduate students in the southeastern United States that are conducting reservoir-related fisheries research. The Warmwater Streams Committee is offering the Jimmie Pigg Memorial Outstanding Student Achievement Award to recognize university students who are truly outstanding in research, education and professional endeavors.
