POPULATION CHARACTERISTICS OF FLATHEAD CATFISH IN SOUTHEASTERN COASTAL RIVERS

A synopsis of the current status of flathead catfish inhabiting coastal rivers of South Carolina and Georgia will be provided. An ongoing effort to assess the population structure of this newly introduced predator and its impact in historic fisheries will be discussed.
