This category is defined by structures which create spawning habitat for specific species of interest. Of all the structures reported (n=30 responses), 100% were intended for use as spawning habitat, 17% as nursery habitat, and 13% as fish attractors to increase angler catch and harvest. For our purposes, we have divided spawning structures into two classes: natural (sand, gravel, cobble, boulder) and artificial (pipes/barrels, benches, boxes).
