The 1996 annual meeting of the Texas Chapter AFS will be held in conjunction with the
Oklahoma chapter’s meeting. The site for this joint meeting is Tanglewood Resort in
Pottsboro, Texas. The meeting dates are September 15, 16 & 17. Tanglewood Resort is
located on the Texas side of Lake Texoma. We are going to use this opportunity to finalize
plans for hosting the 1997 Southern Division AFS Mid-Year meeting in San Antonio.
Tanglewood offers us the leisure atmosphere and recreational opportunities of a resort and
the first class meeting facilities of a metropolitan hotel. Accommodations range from
fully equipped condominiums to standard hotel rooms. Be sure to let the clerk know that
