LAST MINUTE MEETING INFORMATION

Things are going smoothly for the upcoming joint meeting of the Texas and Oklahoma chapters at Tanglewood Resort. For those who have made their reservations and preregistered, we are looking forward to seeing you there. It should be quite an experience!!! There are still rooms and condos available for those who have not made up their minds yet whether or not to attend. The distance to travel may seem intimidating, but there were over 120 room reservations made by August 19. We hope that you will decide to join us on the shores of Lake Texoma for a few days of professional presentations, networking, camaraderie and just plain fun. Call Angela Burns at Tanglewood for reservations (1-800-833-6569). Be sure to indicate whether or not you are bringing your spouse and family. Check In time is 3:00 on Sunday, 9/15, this will give you plenty of time to participate in many of the planned and unplanned activities.

The registration fee for the meeting includes: All Technical Sessions and Trade show, Career Development Seminar, Aquatic Habitat Restoration Workshop, Introduction to Internet Workshop, Fish Fry Social/Auction, Student/Professional Mixer and Boat-About on Lake Texoma. Dinner is on your own Sunday evening. You will need to purchase meal tickets at Registration to eat in the resort dining room for breakfasts ($5.00 each) and lunches ($6.00 each) on Monday and Tuesday. Meals will be buffet style and include drinks. For those of you staying in condos there are full kitchen facilities in each should you decide to bring your own stuff.

Remember to reserve a spot for the Boat-About by calling Ronnie Ballard at (903) 786-2389. Glen Alexander is handling the annual Golf Tournament which will be a 9-hole four player scramble. The cost is $25.00. He can be contacted at (817) 779-2301.
