RAFFLE/AUCTION DONATIONS NEEDED

The annual meeting is drawing closer and closer and closer and closer......Has everyone cashed in on those favors, beaten those bushes, fired up those crafts and hobbies, begged, etc. and gotten at least one item to donate to the auction and raffle? If not, time is running out and you know what happens if we don’t get enough stuff, Bruce will provide some of his own entertainment (i.e., taking off his shirt, etc.) to get us through the night (surely that is incentive to get out and solicit donations (Just kidding Bruce!!)).

On a more serious note, we are planning on taking a different approach to this year’s auction. Bruce has offered his auctioning service again this year and will be auctioning and raffling some items, but there will also be live entertainment and a silent auction. We are hoping the silent auction will limit the amount of time the auction takes and allow more time for mixing, mingling, relaxing, and general socializing.  

Anyone interested in donating items, call Rick Ott (903-566-2161) or Jody Williams (512-353-3492). Remember the money raised here will help support our scholarship fund and future meetings. We’ll see you at the meeting September 15-17 at Tanglewood Resort on beautiful Lake Texoma.
